Summer 2007

Well, Chris came back for more power and went on to run a 10.54 second run at Santa Pod Drag Strip, Tim fitted a Competition Engineering 4 link in the back of his car and We've done about 4 bridge port conversions in the mean time. Rob Castle and Chris Mayhew have had FD Bridge port, track motors. Mike Barnes and Mark Armstrong have submitted their FC's for bridge port monsters to go drag racing with. At some point we'll have friends of the earth knocking on the door!

Winter 2006

Tim's drag car gets an Rx8 Gearbox and a Mezier Electric Water Pump. After pulling consistant 11's at Shakespear County Raceway, he finaly droped in to the 10's with a 10.98 @ 136mph against Brian Ellis in his T51R FD3S. Nothing like a friendly rivalry to make you push a bit harder! Chris Impy's car is finished with a Half Bridge Port, TurboNetics T72, Microtech, Front Mount Intercooler and Aquamist Water Injection to name but a few modifications. At 1 bar of boost, the engine made a healthy 493bhp. You'll find him at your local drag strip for the comming months, lets see what he can do!

Early Summer 2006

Moddified the Turbo II gearbox on the drag car to great effect and sorted out some smaller diameter wheels and tyres. Power plant is at its strongest and just keeps going despite the continual abuse, leaving time to address the "other" bits. Chris Impy delivers his show car for an engine bay transformation... "As much power as you can get out of it" were the instructions, he won't be dissapointed!

Spring 2006

Tims Drag car comes out of hibernation. Rotorstock III was the first event we went to this year. Had a great time over the weekend, unfortunately, Tim couldn't get through the gears as the syncros were locking up over 10k rpm. Despite his best efforts and some of the best launches he's done with the current transmission, we couldn't even get into the 11's. The B2000 Pick-up truck ran a 17.9 1/4 with a 1986 13B Motor. Even Ian had a go up the strip in an FD!

Winter 2005

Well, the ceramic coating wore off and the turbo melted... not a good end to the year, but it's tought us a thing or two about ceramics and turbos. Needless to say the drag car is in the workshop again for bigger ports, a full roll cage, new custom made fuel tank and HKS T51R Turbo charger. Lets see if that illusive 10 second barrier can be broken in 2006.

Spring 2005

Tim's Drag car finally gets it most experimental and advanced engine so far. Tim decided to give ceramic coated rotor housings a go, a massive new turbocharger and even bigger ports. Needless to say countless hours have gone into the engine and car to accomadate these new improvements. It looks like the first event for Tim this year could be Rotorstock II on May 29th and 30th. Rotorstock was Tim's best event last year, so lets hope the weathers good!

New Year 2005

The new year brought about change, change from Normally Aspirated to Turbo Charged! The RX8 got a Turbo Conversion, the drag car got a bigger one and another 12A Turbo was born in the workshop.

Winter 2004

Just as the season closed, Tim went for one last blast up the strip. 103mph at the 1/8th but no 10 second run this year

The RX Motors RX8 is on the road! Tim's enjoying the normally asspirated machine, the luxry features and the kudos. Makes a change from dirving a 1983 drag car!

Santa Pod - Jap Day 2004

Tim ran a 11.7 second 1/4 mile in his 1st Gen, Purple monster. A much improved 1/8th, but the top end was down on previous runs.
